Damn, what a ride this year. 13-8 to 24-11. These boys battled all ******* year. Figures a high bounce off a missed FT does us in there. Would have loved to see how we won with the ball down 2.
I fully believe that if we get that last rebound, we win the game.
Those of you that question our seniors don't belong in the cardinal and gold, period. Those guys have grit, heart and a true love for ISU. I hate losing but this has been one of the best team and coaching efforts this year I've seen at ISU.

The way we played for the first 30 minutes, blaming the refs shouldn't be the go-to. I'm proud of our guys for fighting back, but we just didn't secure 3-4 rebounds that we needed. Thank you seniors for everything you gave us.
Gonzaga game all over again, we make a huge comeback only to fold in the last couple minutes.
The "turnover" where Monte's whole body was rocked and the ball happened to come loose. Yeah that one.
We didn't lose the game because of the second half. We lost because of how we played the first 25 minutes.
Once. I'll take all the times he did and accept the times he gave it his all for the school. I think he has earned that at least.
We played like complete **** for a good portion of that game and they played out of their minds for a good portion of that game. Yet we still only lost by four. I guess what hurts the most is knowing we win this game at least 6 out of 10 times but tonight was one of those nights.
When ISU had em on the ropes, I wish Burtoin would have trucked it to the hole again, instead of taking that 3 or the deep 2....whatever it was.

I'm sad we got so close and didn't finish. However, with 14 minutes left in the game it looked like we didn't belong on the same court as Purdue. Thanks for the great basketball Cyclones. Nice hundred wins, Monte.
We didn't fold; great comeback.
Yeah, just can't expect to make giant comebacks in tournament games. Can't come out as flat as we did (minus Matt) and expect to win.
As soon as he picked us and we went down early I had a sinking feeling. Guy is horrible at picking games.
