Let’s hope this serves as a reality check and causes the team to come out with some motivation for the KU game and the rest of the season. Have to look back on this game and make it on of those games you refuse to have again. Hope this sparks a change for the better
Here’s the problem with that. They’ve had multiple of these refuse to let it happen again type games. Reality is this is who they are. Can be very good and very bad. Hard to tell which some nights.

This team is a lock for the tournament already. It's just about getting things right and being as ready as a team can be for the Madness.

Not quite a lock yet. But 1-2 more wins and we are.

Oh come on, of course we have. Last year's debacle to Texas Tech in the tournament. SEVERAL Prohm games.

We are going to learn about this team and the coaches though. I was super impressed how they came out tonight after a tough loss.
We lost, you moron

Lol, you have it exactly backwards. Theyre able to do that because they know they'll get a whistle every ******* time before any contact even occurs.

So how do the refs get Rob and Osun beat off the dribble every possession? Were they telling them not to play off the guards? They were so afraid of fouls that they stood flat footed on the help side? Nothing complicated or conspiratorial about what happened tonight, it's what happens to anyone who can't stop penetration.

THIS is what happened. And that's all they did with the exception of maybe one three. And they called us on the drive EVERY time.
Have to make some adjustments as time goes on, can't just hack people endlessly in these road games, and then wonder why they home team gets more free throws. Really disappointed we didn't adjust to how the game was being called.

Got killed on the boards in that run too....it was really a poor effort from everyone, and that includes the coaches, all around the last 15 minutes.

How about they foul Grill, hits tech player face, and then goes off Grill, so Tech ball. How do you ignore the obvious foul?

Was literally screaming for this. It was right in front of the ref. And nothing....after calling us for **** all second half.

Per point 2, remember, TJ said his style of ref working will even out the calls. The refs have been running over him for the last few games.
Yep I don't want TJ to change, as I like a coach who doesn't do what 98% of coaches do. With that said, it's been shown (and is good coaching) that when you light up an officiating crew, especially when you aren't known to, you are going to get some things to go your favor. Self is the master of getting a T when they desperately need it, and I will vomit even typing this, but Iowa has had two games this year where Fran has given it to them and the game completely changed. Indiana game especially.

It was helps when players pass the ball to the other team's players. Gotta help the refs out.
Yeah, just a perfect 10 minute storm for tech tonight. Just baffling that's all they needed after we played an almost perfect 30 minutes prior
