Do away with conference tournaments and have the selection committee choose auto bids based on regular season conference standings. Then, have the bubble teams/not high enough in regular season standings play in a big play-in tournament to leads into the ncaa tournament.

The thing that really impressed me about BYU was how good they were situationally. They killed us out of timeouts, I think they ran a play for Saunders every single time and got good looks. They also subbed like an NBA team, lots of offense/defense types of things. It would be nice to see us match some of that.

I know its kind of a dead horse but if we have someone who can't go bc of injury, giving Watson a shot at guarding Saunders in some of those situations might be worth a try. Our other guards/wings just aren't great matchups for him.

Go back and watch Watson trying to guard quickness. I promise you he’s not the Richie Saunders solution
