Not that I expected any additional teams on our schedule, but I am disappointed we didn't put a better non conference together. I hope Arkansas, South Carolina, and the KC CBE opponents are better than expected..

So only 12 NC games with Big 12 play starting Wed, Jan 7.

Would like to see another game in there; 12 seems too little. Could easily play a game on the Sunday after x-mas (December 28).

Big Monday games were announced in early August last year, which is usually the same time the conference schedule comes out. Will be a long wait for that now.

LOL they have a basketball team? My wife got her masters there. She got her BA at ISU....uh oh!! What is she going to do?

My wife did, too, although she didn't actually get it "there". It was an over-the-internet thing.

My wife did hers in WDM, but she did her final course in Lacrosse. Pretty campus and neat area.

Toughest game is at Iola, right? Im not sure its even close. If they get Arizona State in the CBE, that could be close, but ISU should have a strangle hold on tickets to that thing.

Well, at least on the bright side we shouldn't have any trouble going into B12 conference play undefeated again. I'm cool with that.

But now this means it's much more important to get some big wins against Kansas and Texas to help boost our seeding for the tournament.

Same amount of non-con games as last year

Could regret this, but don't see any reason for the Cyclones to be worse than 11-1 going into conference play. Not a great schedule.

I suppose 10-2 wouldn't be the end of the world if they dropped games at Iowa and one in Kansas City against ASU, for example.

@CycloneMBB: Tuesday, Dec. 2 @LamarCards and new head coach Tic Price visit Hilton Coliseum. First meeting between the programs. http://t.co/AT92U4N4zw

Wow, this looks like a bad team. Good news for them is that they are returning 5 of their 6 top scorers. Bad news is that they were 4-26 last year!

Would have loved to see us play UNLV this year and rub it into Rashad Vaughn's face for not picking the Clones and let DeJean-Jones go off on his old team. Maybe in the NCAA tourney!

i think its as good as a schedule as we could get.

you can't force teams to play home-home, and we're not going to do road games for the sake of a "tough schedule." we're just going to have to keep winning, raising the profile of the program, and hoping for invites to better tourneys (maui, bahamas), and get better conference challenges or challenge opponents.
