Jalyn Brown would be a great get but doubt we will land her or she wont want to come here
I always look where home is for them and figure they may end up nearby. She is from Baltimore and started her career at Louisville, so I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up near home.

I doubt we have the budget for any big name additions - first priority will be to take care of Audi / Addy and as many of the rotation players as possible. The big names in the portal will get close to what our entire budget is.

Good stats, the one highlight I saw was a nice drive to the basket. Kinda feels like a Hare or Kelsey type player. Not a need but would be nice.

I would hope Addy and Audi already knew there intentions before a team meeting. The longer we go the better chance they are staying.

Saw that Jalyn Brown from ASU was in the portal. She was nasty good this year.
Peterson from UCF is in the portal with one year left. She was a fantastic guard as well.
Taliah Scott from Auburn is another scorer with three years left. Suffered a year ending wrist injury early this season, but averaged 22ppg as a fresh at Arkansas.
there’s a bunch of guards in the portal already, but only a handful that jump out to me.
I haven't been able to find a good site which lists current entries in the NCAAW transfer portal (lots on the men's side). Where are you looking?

Mark Campbell claims he got all his senior class players to come with no NIL.

As for OSU, are they really spending that money on WBB when they really only care about football and sucked last year.

I agree though that money is the name, I would find it very hard not to advise my daughter not to take a 100k salary bump
On the one hand I could see HVL going just about anywhere to get away from LSU and The Sea Hag, she was visibly unhappy by the end of last season. But I find it dubious to say the least this claim that she came to TCU for no money. She was a hot transfer prospect before going to LSU and suddenly she isn't getting offers at enough schools that she has to go to one offering NOTHING to find a good fit.

RIIIIIIIIIIGHT...

This is relevant, but it's about as trashy for "journalism" as you can get. Sharing with the ads removed because SI doesn't deserve to earn anything from this.

Basically, they shared some tweets made by people who want Audi to transfer to their school and made an article out of it.

"And in the wake of Friday's loss, some fans on social media are asserting that now is the right time for Crooks to transfer so she can find success at another school."

Fans Call For Audi Crooks to Transfer After Iowa State NCAA Tournament Elimination
That - and many similar 'articles' - have been popping up on my phone. They all look like an AI concoction of garbage mined from the interwebs rather than a coherent article with a purpose.

Who effing cares what random internet users with an agenda surrounding a different team says about a player? What makes anyone think this is journalism?

Yeah, last NCAA season and into the WNBA season there were these sort of "articles" popping up all over the place trying to fan a Reese and Clark war. Most were just like the one shared here although a lot of the ones last year lead with a supposed implied statement by Clark that was not in the article because she never said anything close to the fake lead "headline".

I'm not going to pretend like I'm knowledgeable about this topic, as I dislike it intensely. My understanding is there are two sources of $ for the college athletes.

1) Name / Image / Likeness Contracts with a business entity, such as Livvie Dunn with Vuori or Audi Crooks with Fareway, which might or might not be facilitated by a school. I expect HVL and Sedonna Price have significant NIL contracts that have nothing to do with TCU, nor did TCU arrange them.

2) Collectives, such as We Will for ISU. These guys collect the money from individuals and businesses, but I assume they allot a certain amount to each athletic program and the Head Coach decides how much each player is given, if any.

To bring this full circle to the HVL discussion, I interpret Mark Campbell's statement to mean no TCU collective money was offered to HVL or SP - they have their personal NIL contracts but get no additional money channeled thru the school.

If I've got this all wrong, I'd love to see an explanation. As my wife and I fast approach retirement, I'm focusing on retirement destination cities with small Division III colleges where I can watch kids play four years for the love of the sport, not worrying about the Transfer Portal!

Recruiting has been great but player development has been lacking over the last 10 years with Fennelly and staff. Who got substantially better this year compared to last?

I’m not saying Fennelly should be fired but hope he can take an fresh look at what needs to be done to reverse this trend. There is no way we should have had 1 Q1 win and playing in the First Four with first team, second team, and HM All-Big 12 players.

I don’t know how this money is routed, but in some conferences there are plans for enticements similar to what the collectives offer. Can’t remember where I saw it, but it seems like the BIG has or is developing a plan to share revenue with athletes to the tune of 20 mill.

Let’s see…Bridget obviously improved enough to make the wnba. Ashley got better. Audi Crooks is night and day better this yesr and improved throughout the season. Addy is def better. Joens is definitely improving…her energy is more focused. AJ's ball handling was much improved. To say these kids aren’t improving is a big stretch. As to your last statement…when you are playing senior laden teams the upper conference was dominated with…experience makes a big difference. And…we were in most all of those games.

I recommend Brookings, SD as your destination city...WBB team had no transfers & have won the Summit League undefeated in the last 3 years. MBB has been fairly successful / Zeke Mayo (transfer to KU/Oscar Cluff( transfer to ? ...)) FB has also been very successful with lots of "Midwest" guys. Go Jacks!! (My 2nd favorite team)

Daktronics Headquarters, lots of dining & bar options, growing community, less than a hour from Sioux Falls,, cost of living isn't bad, but it is colder than **** in the winter.
