I don't think that anyone has argued that Bill doesn't use profanity during games. It was argued that he was shouting "c***" at ISU players during games and that everyone who sits around the ISU bench has heard it. That poster says that they sit behind the bench and has never heard it.

I don't recall this poster ever posting in the WBB before. Tornado Man however has been a constant source of factual information about this programs innerworkings for a very long time.

I can guarantee you there are quite a few WBB season ticket holders who have never posted on CF.

If Fennelly has been saying the "c" word regularly from the bench, I'd like to know why it has never been addressed before. Not only would that be an ISU problem, I would imagine it is a problem for visiting teams and the league. That's why it seems far fetched.

What is this blasted "c" word?!?!?! I don't know about you guys, but Cookie Monster taught me that C is for Cookie, however, I can't imagine people getting their jumblies in a bunch over Cookie.

:jimlad:....just in case.

I sit right behind the behind the bench and have never heard him yell ****.

While I have never specifically heard the "C" word, I would not be shocked if he has used it. His language goes way beyond salty, to degrading and dehumanizing. In the 18 years I have been sitting in the section, I have heard most of the women in the section gasp at some of his utterances hundreds of times. A few just shake their heads and smile uncomfortably. Even his assistants visibly move away from him and avert their gazes when he really blows. Realizing this may help some of you understand why Jessica Schroll's dad and CBF nearly came to blows right before she transferred.

That being said, while I would never allow my daughter or any relative to play for him, I don't believe he has a racist bone anywhere in his body.

One other thing to those who feel the officials would have lit him up upon hearing certain words. While almost all rules books allow for giving techincals for unsporting conduct, I have never seen one leveled against any coach for something he said to his/her own players/staff. I have officiated three sports at the HS level, and one as high as the D1 level. Never seen it - ever.

We're in the smartphone video era. It could be pretty damaging if Moody's lawyers have managed to round up some video of Fennelly blowing his top. Again, probably nothing racist in there, but it will be pretty difficult for a jury to "unsee" and "unhear" on of those rants that gizzsdad speaks of...

Now I am confused. I thought you had a daughter that did play for him.

Why would you CHOOSE to sit there? Are there no other seats? Is someone holding you at gunpoint? If you don't want to hear what he says, move to another section. If you're an athlete, maybe you should have watched some film of him in action at a game, as it is clearly no secret that he yells a lot. I don't go to the WBB games, and even I'm aware of that.

I'm getting more than a bit annoyed with these ******* matches of "I sit closer than you do to Fennelly, and I think he has a really foul mouth"...

I am just glad no one watching me work (whether it be in the shop on my racecar or in my office doing accounting), I'd make BF blush. :)

I hear ya...

I have perfected the art of keeping my voice nice & friendly over the phone when dealing with some of our clientele, while anyone walking by my desk with think I'm having some kind of seizure. If we ever go to routine videophone conversations with clients I'm toast!

This is the CF way. Most the time, it deals with make believe "sources".

And plenty of men too, gizzsdad. I was responding to a post claiming that 'Moody is the bully, not Fennelly," and I could not hold back anymore. People have no idea what goes on, apparently.
I get weary of the yahoos on this board whose only picture of BF is from him on the coaches shows, the locker room videos, etc. etc., and then dismiss any negative info. by saying "girls have got to be "mentally tough" to play for him, or "they should have known what they were getting into." What BS.

At least you've moved on from the complete BS claim that he screams C*** at his players.

How can you know a post is stupid until after you've read it?

You can't. Just like when you go to a basketball game and you have seats in a certain area, you can't avoid hearing certain things, especially if it is at a venue that is not well attended and the crowd noise is minimal.
