Look out Oregon, Maryland is now the home of the ugliest/most unnecessary combanation of football uni's in the country. I liked the Terps old uni's, especially the black ones they wore every now and then. These new ones are completely awful.

I like the simplicity of our uniforms, but I would like to see more color combos like these guys are doing- not change the colors or logo any- just the way they're presented. You know- yellow helmet, red pants & jerseys; yellow jerseys & pants with red helmet, white helmet, jerseys & pants. That'd be pretty rad.
Even Tim Dwight agrees, those those uniforms are atrocious.

Exactly, I can appreciate some variety with the color combos but some of these alternate unis teams use are just different for the sake of being different. I'm old though so who knows, maybe the kids these days but into that wacky stuff.

I agree. Maybe I'm old and uncool but I don't see anything appealing whatsoever about these uniforms.
What's wrong with those jerseys? I'd say those and the Kansas City Chief jerseys we had, have been the best since I started paying attention to ISU football in the mid 90'sSage Rosenfels just sent a text to laugh about the new Maryland uniforms.
I think its way to many colors... it would be like watching a new team every week. I guess I am just a firm believer in home/away game rotation, plus maybe one "throwback" week.
I'm young and my coolness is debatable, and I agree completely. Most of these suck.
The helmet is 100% awesome, and just out of the park, but the uniforms themselves are as bad as the helmets are great.
The Chief rip-off alternates we wore in '03 were pretty good, but those unis in the quoted picture were the worst we've ever had. Holy Mid Major, Batman.
The new helmets are so much better. Maryland's old one and Florida's look like a 4th grader learning to write cursive.
I like how the tiny numbers accentuate 72's love handles. Not crazy about these, but I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to football uni's. Case in point: I think Oregon's uni's in any of the countless combos they have are god-awful.
