Starting in 2022-23. So there will be 11 teams next year, and back to 12 after that.

It really should be:
Pac-12 (6): ASU, ORST, Cal Poly, CS Bakersfield, Cal Baptist, Utah Valley
Big 12 (11): ISU, OU, OSU, WVU; NDSU, SDSU, UNI, Air Force, Northern Colorado, Wyoming, Little Rock
That way the Pac-12 remains a viable wrestling conference, and the two geographic footprints make a little more sense.

If only Pac12 teams like Washington, Oregon and Boise State would add wrestling (again).
This is essentially a replacement for Fresno State. The conference's geography will remain somewhat unwieldy, but it will help keep a foot in the door for recruiting in CA.
I’m still hopeful the big 12 invites Mizzou back for wrestling. Think they’d be a very good addition

This is awesome for Big 12 wrestling. Having more high level competition in conference is crucial to keep up with the Big 10.
For Mizzou this has to be great. They go all conference season pounding on MAC teams, get "over-seeded" at NCAA's and underperform. Now they get to see high level competition all the way through their season.

Seeing that Mizzou "we're back" tweet made me immediately think of the "SEC, SEC!" chant.
