Got added a month or so back.
Matt is great as the Doctor because he brings back the quirks and silliness of the Doctors of old, like Troughton and Tom Baker.
Yeah. For some reason growing up, I watched a few episodes when it first came out and didn't like it but you know, times change and I think I'd enjoy it way more now than I would 18 years ago.
That's what I love about the Doctor. Funny guy and just keeps talking and talking through stuff, saying funny crap while buying time to do something.
Firefly, definitely had to grow on me at first, but like someone else mentioned, the cast is phenomenal. Too bad it's only one season + a movie.
Yeah, i was kind of the same. It starts kind of slow but its really good when it gets going.
Also, when i was younger, i only caught sporadic episodes because, iirc, it was on later at night. You get a lot more out of this series by watching the series one right after another since this one, more than all the others, has a lot more story arcs that span multiple episodes. Probably has the best fleshed out characters of any of the series.
No idea if these are even on Netflix but...

Nice. once I'm done with Dr. Who (this week) I should start on that. woohoo, ha ha.
LOST is simply the best show I've ever seen and Arrested Development is probably the funniest or near the top.
I'm finishing the last 5 episodes of Law & Order: SVU right now. A ton of freakin' episodes. It'll keep you busy. 
I didn't think I would like it but I started watching Sons of Anarchy over thanksgiving weekend and couldn't turn it off. Started on Thursday and had already watched the first two seasons by the end of the weekend. Very well written and the actors are great.
SG-1 just had that syfy channel cheese too much. I still liked it and love Amanda Tapping, but just like the feel of U better.
I'm pretty sure all but The Wire are on Netflix. HBO refuses to sell their streaming rights, I'm guessing they make a lot of money off their in-demand service. Dexter I believe only has seasons 1 and 2 available, but those are head and shoulders above the later seasons anyway. The AMC shows (Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead) all got added this summer and probably don't have the most recent seasons, but I assume those will get added once new seasons start or end on TV.
Also, I have been plowing through Friday Night Lights the last couple months. It is fantastic.
In order of preference:
1. Breaking Bad
2. Dexter
3. Luther (best psychopath since Lecter; she's an astrophysicist at Cambridge)
4. Sherlock (best Holmes since Jeremy Britt)
5. Wallander (Kenneth Branagh version)
6. Wire in the Blood
It is great. I'm about halfway into season 4 right now. I was skeptical about the move to a different school, but it's actually been pretty great. I even thought the much-maligned second season was pretty good.
