please stop ignoring the posts about your ****** website.

Agreed... I want to know why you are Biso Nation and not Bison Nation?

Deep down I already know the truth... you misspelled BISONNATION.com when you went to register it...

So basically all of your fans think that you are either the Biso Nation or that you are an "ation" of Bison Fans?

Watching this thread is like watching a train wreck. There's no good reason to look, and I'm not benefiting from it in any way, but I can't look away!!!

Explain to me if the "bio's" are so popular and "trend" so often especially this past year with game day, why does according to googlelytics, which uses facts and figures as opposed to wishes and hopes, state clearly that internet activity for the bison has not gone up since 2007?

Why do you ignore these important questions? Are you spending so much time on your amazing website that due to the huge popularity of the "biso's" is expieriencing insane traffic numbers?

Re: NDSU v Iowa State 2014 (after NDSU wins 3rd title & 43-2!)

7 returning starters on defense. 1000+ rusher at running back? Nebraska transfer at RB. 1000 yard WR. and 3 oline starters. NDSU will beat ISU. I guarantee it.

So it is a really big deal to have a Nebraska transfer at RB at NDSU? It likely means he could not cut it at Nebraska. When Nebraska was in the Big 12 we played a WHOLE ROSTER of non-transferred Nebraska players every year. And EVERY YEAR we play a WHOLE ROSTER of non-transferred players from the ENTIRE Big 12 Conference and also Iowa during our football season.

Kind of funny that you are focusing on a possible upset of a 3-9 Big 12 to be the pinnacle of your upcoming season if it were to occur. We will regard a victory over NDSU as a ho-hum event.

Kind of depends on what you define as a "starter". ISU will return i believe 13 or 14 different guys of whom all started at one point (and a majority) of the year on offense. I can name them if you would like.

Defense is a different story, but we return 3 linebackers who got significant time, 4 or 5 D-lineman who got significant playing time, and 3 corners who got some starts, and playing time. Safety is going to be where the playing time is thin. The coaches believe or two JUCO safeties are starter-quality, and there are some 2nd and 3rd year guys who were stuck behind Broomfield and Washington who i think can compete for a starting spot also.

ISU definitely has more experience than last year IMO. There are literally 6 or 7 different linebackers who might see time (one being our likely starter at MLB JUCO Jordan Harris).

So i don't know if you are saying that ISU will be inexperienced? The only group i would agree with you on would be a few secondary spots.

Why the JUCO players or possible transfers? Does the coaching staff have issues recruiting or with player development? Just curious, I believe the Neb. transfer for NDSU is the first in quite sometime.

Are those serious questions?

You bring in JUCOs for positions that need immediate help or depth and don't have time to wait on true freshman or RS frosh to develop.

Because why the hell would anyone leave a juco to transfer to ndsu? Ndsu is practically a juco itself

I have to agree with you, a talent gap does seem to exist. In fact earlier in the thread I ran the Game Analyzer Mechanism based on last yrs statistics.

I took down NDSUs stats -14% and increased the ISU stats by +6%. This of course encompasses strength of schedule, as explained in the original post, but that is a derivative of talent viewed as performance over time, I guess?

The GAM is showing a close game, 25.9-22.4 in favor of The BISON.

From here we can adjust inputs, based on observations, to make a very good prediction on this years games.

Really? When I ran the Game Analyzer Mechanism, it had Iowa State in a favorable outcome of 42.7/18.9. Have you tweaked the Statistical Anomoly Gadget to account for the missing Yardage to Footage Difference?

We pull up the best players from JuCos to transfer such as NDSU. NDSU gets the drop outs from the big boys.

Storming beating Iowa state will be nothing big for NDSU after Kansas State & 3 titles & Minnesota twice and Colorado St/Kansas

Stormsbirds-- NDSU doesn't take drop down transfers, this Nebraska kid is the first one in 5+ years and NDSU actually recruited him, it was Nebraska, Iowa State, Kansas and NDSU in his final 4
