ideally, the big 12 would be NDSU's best spot, peer institution's academically and town population wise.

if Texas or Oklahoma ever bolts the big 12, I think NDSU should be invited. We already can compete on and off the field.

Lunardi has NDSU at a #12 seed currently.... honestly Iowa State should be a #3 seed, thus avoiding a meltdown of epic proportions when former Waterloo Star Trayonn Wright beats up on his homestate team!

Only way we end up in the same conference as NDSU is if they implement relegation between the Big 12, whatever conference is in between NDSU and the Big 12, and then whatever conference NDSU is in.

RPI isn't the problem, it's lack of quality wins to go along with some bad losses. It wouldn't surprise me if NDSU is one of the better RPI teams to be left out, but they could certainly be left out.

The one point loss to Southern Miss looks like the biggest lost opportunity, outside of @tOSU. Notre Dame fading so bad doesn't help matters.

The committee wont see you at 25-7... In their eyes you would be 22-7 due to games against things called Valley City State, Viterbo University, Mayville State.
