Who else has today off? I think I mostly started a few years ago.

Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope.

Not an official day off at my Work. We get 12 paid Holidays in addition to however many weeks of vacation based on seniority. Seven of them are assigned. (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas.) Depending on the when the holidays hit during the week we may get an extra day before or after one of the other Holidays. The other 5 or so days are Personal Holidays that can be used whenever you want in addition to normal vacation, so if we want to take MLK day off or any other holiday we can as personal preference.

We lost one personal holiday and gained 2 set holidays, so I guess that trade works out.

I'm working. It was a normal busy Monday until about 10 AM and then the effects of a lot of other people being off has taken effect.

My wife is off any day the market is closed, so she may still be in bed.
