The Giants' Joe Panik went 12-15 in the series against Colorado. They didn't win this series (you're welcome, Rulzzz!), but that set a franchise record for hits in a 3-game series. Even when they stink, SF is still managing to do some cool stuff now and then.

Yankboy misses the Sandman. **** all of these blown saves (up to 23, way more than any other team still in contention).

Heard a stat that last night was your only win at Coors this year. Was hoping for the season sweep at home. As far as Panik I was watching when he actually happened to make an out and the Rockies TV team went crazy! LOL

Please PLEASE tell me there's enough pitching fuel in the tank for my Royals to take out the Twinkies this weekend and get back into the WC hunt!

Also, Indians going for 15 straight wins tonight. AL Central is pretty much theirs at this point.

Oh, well, GIbson is pitching tonight, so I'd say you have a real shot.

Oh, IDK, I'd bet the Twins are approaching 20 by now. Why in the hell did they trade Kintzler?

I think Twins are at 16 BS. What's weird about the number of Yank blowns is that they have a really good bullpen that has inexplicably coughed up some huge hairballs.

Watching Yanks/Orioles. That Baltimore pitching is brutal. It's amazing they have been able to homer their way to around .500 with that ugly pitching.

I think Molitor deserves a fair amount of credit for managing that group into playoff contention with the (mostly) moth-eaten pitching he was given. Santana and Berrios are a great 1-2 punch, and Colon has his days, but the rest of the staff has mostly been a hot mess. Hildenberger gives them some good setup innings.

Wow Kershaw off his game tonight. Was down 3-0 after the first 3 batters he faced probably the first time in his career. Has thrown 71 pitches through 3 innings.

We'll, atleast the Cedar Rapids Kernels swept Kane Co in the 1st round of the Midwest League playoffs. In the midst of the Dodgers colossal collapse, there is a ray of sun.
