Rockies went on a 8 game road trip to LA and Arz and went 6-2. I'll take that any day of the week. Only 3 games left this season with above .500 record. Time to take care of the bottom feeders and earn a playoff spot.

Giants walked off on the Rocks last night (surprisingly). Sorry, Rulzzz - I don't know how that happened!

Despite your teams record their is quite of bit of talent on that team plus Cueto was pitching. Doesn't matter the opp. record you still got to show up.

After your record coming out of the LAD and Az series (6-2), I thought to myself, "The ONLY way the Brewers make the playoffs is if they can sweep the Cubs and not go under .500 against the other teams they face." I really hate rooting against the Rox - I'd much prefer that they could switch places in the standings with LAD or Az. One thing is for sure, the recent performances of these ball clubs make for a VERY intriguing (and very stressful) stretch run. Good luck (but not too much ;)).

I just stumbled on something surprising to me. There were 7 no-hitters in 2015, but there was only one in 2016 and there has only been one so far in 2017.

Without cheating, can anyone name the last two?

2016 - Jake Arrieta: Cubs 16 Reds 0
2017 - Edinson Volquez: Marlins 3 Diamondbacks 0

That's what has made this whole season so frustrating - this was supposed to be a playoff team. Virtually no one was expecting SF to win the NL West, but it was generally assumed that they'd be a WC team and maybe advance a round or so. There's not a single person who saw this **** show coming down the pike for the Giants. It's just been one of those years where literally nothing worked the way it was 'supposed' to. The current three-game winning streak is just the third such streak this entire season. Ugh. o_O
