Milan Momcilovic is making steps toward returning to the Iowa State lineup. Momcilovic, sophomore guard who started 14 games for the Cyclones this season, injured his right hand in practice before the Kansas game and on Jan. 15 the team announced he'd miss time. The injury reportedly came with a five to six week recovery time.
Thursday, ISU coach TJ Otzelberger shared the latest on Momcilovic's recovery. "Cast is off," Otzelberger said. "He's doing strengthening exercises...What are we at, week three? I would say four is probably aggressive but we'll see. It's more just do the strengthening, hopefully this week get some form shots up and see where we go from there."
