He CAN, but he also shot 16.7% the year before that. 32.9% for his career. Not bad, but not great. Very similar to Lipsey. The part that's frustrating with Heise though is pretty much all his shots are wide open.
He played 2 games of the season when he shot 16.7%. 1-6 from 3.

32.9% is pretty much the same points per attempt as shooting 50% from 2. Take that all day and twice on Sundays. Most importantly it is good enough that it has to be respected and clears the lane.

That doesn't sound like a broken bone to me if the cast is already off. Unless he's got a finger splint on. Either way it's good news in his recovery. His wrist won't be too stiff after only 3 weeks in a cast.

He had to have surgery on it, so it was either a break or torn ligament, wouldn’t it? A torn ligament would be a much longer recovery I would think.

Believe that it was confirmed to be a boxer’s fracture. Fairly common, and for young folks many don’t even get a cast and it heals on its own fairly quickly.

I'm no doctor, just some chump that's had a lot of injuries. Could be something like a stretched ligament that wasn't going to be able to hold a bone in place and would pop out easily. So the surgery is to put something there to help the ligament do it's job. A bone popping out of place in your hand is a nagging pain.

Surgery for a broken bone would be to reset it. Would think that would take longer in a cast to heal than 3 weeks.

So Milan is boxing in practice? And some people saying that he isn't tough enough...
I got a boxer's fracture playing intramural basketball at ISU, didn't have surgery to reset it, basically just resulted in having a much smaller knuckle on that finger...

I saw a comment from TJ earlier that seemed to imply it was a dislocation of some sort.
That would seem to support that possibility of a ligament avulsion of some sort or stretch as was pointed out above.

Whatever, we probably won't know. Let's just hope he heals on time and can get back to helping the team with no long lasting detrimental effects.

For what it's worth. In one of the last 2 games, the camera panned over to Momcilovic. You could clearly see that his middle finger (3rd digit or longest finger) was more swollen than the other fingers.

I won't speculate on the injury, but to me it might indicate something close to the 3rd metacarpal?
