Houston has won their last 17 reg season conference games.... I think the last time they lost was in Hilton?
True. I forget about the past.Heise has already proven he can hit shots at that level. He was 47-132 (35%) from 3 last year at UNI. Not great but serviceable.
It looks like they lost to TCU the game after they lost to us.Houston has won their last 17 reg season conference games.... I think the last time they lost was in Hilton?

They lost @KU in early Feb 2024It looks like they lost to TCU the game after they lost to us.
We'd all love to see that.Hopefully, Heise can pull a Hansford and hit 4 straight threes to break out of the slump.
Isn't it funny (not really, but our reality) that we don't even know (I'm sure some fans do) what part of his hand or wrist he injured and had to have surgery on?Let's hope for two weeks, three at the latest. Mainly to let him get back into rhythm, but his presence for @KU and @Houston would be important.
Yes, I am anxious to put my intimate medical knowledge of the bones of the human hand to work here.Isn't it funny (not really, but our reality) that we don't even know (I'm sure some fans do) what part of his hand or wrist he injured and had to have surgery on?
Knowing the type of injury and surgery would give us a much better idea of his prognosis and return date.
Alas, it's something that we aren't supposed to know, I guess. And I don't think it's HIPAA related, it's just the coaching staff's philosophy, i.e., don't tell the world stuff they don't need to know, about your team.
Intimate Bone would be a good name for a band.Yes, I am anxious to put my intimate medical knowledge of the bones of the human hand to work here.
I forgot about Rancik being injured in 2000. I don’t recall the details of it. According to sports-reference.com he played in 22 games for 15 minutes per game with 12 starts. His stats were down quite a bit across the board from 1999. When he came back I seem to remember it was pretty late in the year and he didn’t play much.
Rancik was a stud in 2001, if he was anywhere near that form and fitness in 2000, hard to see that team losing to anyone.
Alas!
I got you there.Yes, I am anxious to put my intimate medical knowledge of the bones of the human hand to work here.
Bone Business?Intimate Bone would be a good name for a band.
Watson has a better release than Heise. Wait, Heise has a better release than Chat. Wait, Chat has a better release than Watson.if you look at numbers, there is little difference between Chatt, Watson, or Heise regarding scoring, rebounding, or free throws. They are 3 different positions: 3, 4, 5, but depending on fouls, fatigue, and fortitude they all 3 should get playing time. As for Jefferson, he is now shooting the same 3 pt% as either Gilbert or Lipsey. I like his smooth release.
Or a Suprapubic tattoo.Intimate Bone would be a good name for a band.
Yeah I think it was a stress fracture? Then Shirley got hurt and missed games late in the conference season. I feel like his first game back was spot minutes vs ucla in the sweet 16.Broke his left foot against Arkansas State in the last non-con game.
He CAN, but he also shot 16.7% the year before that. 32.9% for his career. Not bad, but not great. Very similar to Lipsey. The part that's frustrating with Heise though is pretty much all his shots are wide open.Heise has already proven he can hit shots at that level. He was 47-132 (35%) from 3 last year at UNI. Not great but serviceable.
Our performance against them in the Big 12 tournament was crazy.Houston has won their last 17 reg season conference games.... I think the last time they lost was in Hilton?
