If Mike Stoops is the new head coach of ISU Football, I will be the first in line to throw Jamie Pollard overboard.

Arizona football message boards are dead. For a team that hasn't seen a bowl game in a decade, they sure aren't very excited to go to one this year.

Thats because it just snowed 3 inches in Vegas. I wouldnt be too thrilled going from 60's & sun to 30's & snow. Although copious amounts of alcohol & a sportsbook during the bowl season would excite me

Hey guys, Im an Arizona fan. Honestly this is all news to most of us. Didn't even think that he was looking for another job, or testing the waters.

Although, He did recently sale his house. saying he wanted to "downsize" never heard anything about a house he bought or if he did buy one.

I don't like stoops at Arizona, but i still believe he CAN be a good coach, in a new location. He recruits really well, and his 3rd quarter adjustments are really good. He throws tantrums though, and the coach leaving the sideline penalty was made because of him. Although yes Arizona can not beat people they are suppose to but that has been a problem before stoops, this year i think is the first year of full Stoops players, and they team is faster/stronger and better overall. the biggest problem with stoops is his on the field decisions, they haven't been very good at all.

Keep us updated though, I wonder if our AD has any idea.

ALSO the buy out is only 50k, yes one of the lowest buyouts around. I thank the AD for that lovely gem

Count me on the Stoops bandwagon.

People don't understand the state Arizona was in when he came to coach. The team revolted against its former coach, players left. It was amazing to be able to get a coach. When do you say "thanks for the help but we need to move on?"

Well, that's pretty much what ISU said to Dan McCarney.
