It's going to be on Connections 22 in DSM, right?

I take it MediaCom and BTN did not get an agreement done for putting BTN on fulltime?

Mediacom has agreed on a deal with BTN and most likely they will use Connections 22 (like they did for the FIU game) as their temporary channel until they are able to create a permanent channel on basic cable.

Multichannel News - "Mediacom vice president of legal and public affairs Tom Larsen said the operator may open up temporary channels at first to make sure the game action is as widely available at first, before establishing permanent locations."

Also check it out at Mediacom's website BTN area:

No, it will not be on 22. It will be on 59. The only reason it was on 22 the first week is because the network was not fully operational on Mediacom's end. The deal is done. The UI/ISU game is the national game on BTN, thus will be shown on 59. If you don't get 59, then you need to upgrade from basic to expanded basic. Be happy it's not on 22...the picture is much better on 59. I doubt they have an HD channel set up by this weekend. It's Mediacm we are talking about afterall.

Type in your zip code at the link below to find out the channel in your area.

Big Ten Network GameFinder & Coverage Maps - Big Ten Network

Yeah, I posted that the other day. Only thing is, when you type in an Ames zip code and choose Mediacom, this is what you get...
BIG TEN NETWORK IS COMING SOON!
The Big Ten Network is coming to Mediacom’s channel lineup. We are awaiting the projected channel information from Mediacom and will update the website as soon as we know those channel assignments. Thank you for your interest in the Big Ten Network, and please check back later as more information becomes available. You may also contact Mediacom directly at 800-453-3415 to receive the most up-to-date channel locations.

This site supposedly tells you where the game is in your zip code...

Mediacom | Cable TV | Family Cable

However, when you type in an Ames zip code, it says the game is on Channel 22, which is contrary to what other people here are saying.

Why does it not surprise me that Mediacom doesn't have their stuff together on this?

It also said 22 for Polk City, but the connections site says otherwise. Unlock it!!
well you can look for it on the BTN out of Ames, but I'm gonna guess you wont find it. So my sources tell me it will definately be on connections channel. And trust me when I say that my sources are accurate.

Typed in the Quad Cities zip code and it shows.

Channel 78 Ill vs some loser team
Channel 22 Northwestern vs Lousiana Lafayette

So it shows that the Iowa game will not be on in the Quad Cities? What the F*ck?

Superb. Fort Dodge does not currently have a channel for BTN, but they tell me they are working hard to bring us one. So I guess we're blacked out for the game up here?
