Kansas is unlikely to lose at WVU or KSU.

You can't think KU is going to lose at KSU yet expect us likely to walk away with a W there.

So the turnover machine that was Kansas yesterday is unlikely to lose at WVU, that makes no sense given that WVU turns over people at a very high rate.

KSU is a rivalry game, so they are going to play with more intensity than they play against ISU. Understand that purple Kansas never fairs well, but rivalry does take things to a different level. Heck a ASU team with a record comparable to KSU beat Arizona yesterday.

That said agree with others have to win at OU.. That actually puts you in a great position, because the rest of ISU road games are against the lower half of the league.

KU I believe would still have OU, WVU on the road.

Check the history on this one. KU dominates this series in Manhattan, and KSU is not great this year.

I'd worry more about OU or Baylor over taking us in the standings than banking on the extremely bleak chance we can catch KU.

Baylor still has to play @ISU, @KU and @UT. That's 3 likely losses assuming Texas is healthy, putting them at 7 losses. I doubt they pass us in the standings. OU much more likely but as long as we get the 2 or 3 seed, it doesn't really matter.

You should not be such a sour ****. Baylor has a tough road ahead for one and OU is not a juggernaut. That being said it will still be tough to beat out KU but our chances improved 100% yesterday.

Roughly the most-likely to least-likely wins for KU & ISU, among remaining games.

Kansas (8-2)
TCU
at Texas Tech
West Virginia
Texas
Baylor
at Kansas State
at West Virginia
at Oklahoma

Iowa State (7-3)
Baylor
at TCU
West Virginia
Oklahoma
at Kansas State
at Texas
at Oklahoma State
at Oklahoma

Compare the two, and keep in mind, we have to make up 1 win just to share the title.

I made an excel sheet last night using the Kenpom win percentages. KU is very far ahead, but I believe OU is extremely overrated by Kenpom and I suspect us to be slightly underrated due to letting some late leads get smaller when we never lost control of the game.

Still, our schedule is tough.

I'll preface my comment by saying that yes, with our loss in Lubbock and KU's loss in Stillwater that if you don't show up to play every game.....you can lose anywhere. With that said, 4 of our last five road games are with the bottom half of the league and we get OU, WVU and Baylor at Hilton. Rather that than the other way around. Take care of business tomorrow and although KU winning the league may be a forgone conclusion, anything is possible. And if that does happen, coming in second is not chump change at all. We do that, do well in the conference tourney and we very easily could be a 3 seed in the dance. Looking over at Creighton and remembering what that was like here just a few years back.........I am having a tough time complaining about anything right now. And if 2nd is the best the guys can do.......good job out of you!

Have you even watched Baylor and UT play recently? My money would be on Baylor winning that game.

Possible but OU or Baylor could get us at home too.

You mean the Baylor coached by Scott Drew who has never beaten Iowa State in Hilton? And the OU that comes to town on senior day for the last home game of the season with very possibly 2nd place on the line? Cool story, bro.
