I DVR every show, that way I can fast-forward through most of the show (because it's terribly not funny) and watch the musical acts.

I have no delusions of myself having the ability to write a skit but, I can think of so many funnier "plots" for skits than they come up with. I don't get it...the **** they use as base subjects for skits is usually horrible.

It happens in phases. People think the cast is one of the funniest, then most of the cast leaves the show to expand their career, then new cast members are considered horrible and the show isn't worth watching, then many of the become veterans and the show is considered great again, then round and round we go....

I think Jimmy Fallon may be the worst of all time. He and Tina Fey on weekend update made me quit watching the show altogether. The only skit I ever enjoyed Fallon in was the Barry Gibb show, and that was largely because of JT...

Did you ever see the Debbie Downer sketch with Lindsay Lohan? Fallon was trying to prevent himself from laughing by stuffing pancakes in his face, which made everyone else laugh. It actually made the skit funnier. But for the most part, you're right.

Way up there
Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, and Bill Hader are very good in this cast

Samberg and Meyers are pretty good...

Samberg is really good at the Digital Short things but I think he isn't really cut out for the live stuff.

Horatio Sanz is by far the worst of at least the time I've been watching. When the funniest skits you were in you had to be carried by Jimmy Fallon...not good.

I still blame Horatio Sanz for the riot in 04.... he just started that whole weekend off wrong.

SNL - Debbie Downer Featuring Lindsay Lohan Video - Buzznet Video

I agree, the laughing made that skit much better. It was going downhill very quickly, and each and every one of the actors/actresses straight up failing in that skit made it one of the most memorable SNL skits ever...

Ever.. Horatio Sanz. That guy was the antidote to funny.

Kenan is bad. He plays every character the same week in and week out. Maybe they just struggle to write good stuff for him, but he's sure not doing anything with what he's given.

Wow, never saw that one before. That was absolutely hilarious (the laughing, not the skit).

I will admit I hardly ever watch SNL, but I have always found Kristen Wiig to be pretty funny.

I actually think she's a little funnier than you do, soooo... I usually laugh more than you.
