Exactly. If the Rockets determined that Royce is good enough to play for them, there's no reason for him to continue playing for the D-League and risk injury.
This may sound funny, but if you look at box score for each of 11 games he played in, he is way at top for positive results +/-. When he is in the game, good things usually happen for the team.
What bugs me the most about this: what happens if down the road another star player with anxiety issues enters the draft? More teams would balk at him b/c of what happened with Royce - I don't think he realizes this.

Team hasn't responded. Living in a hotel in McAllen apparently created struggles for Royce in establishing a routine. I get that.
He's saying that he returned to Houston to work on the next issues (inexact quote). Essentially, it sounds to me like he's forcing their hand again. I don't see this going well for Royce.
