I’m always amazed at the hate local radio hosts get and the reasons why. I enjoy all the shows, minus Condon and Miller. I enjoy the sports is secondary on a sports station. All miller and condos talk about is is gambling. Certainly all better than national radio.

Right? People need to be able to grow mentally to learn how to say, "I don't like..." vs "the show sucks! I can't believe it's been on for years!" Which means it hasn't sucked if it's been in that long.

Yeah, they talked about it but at that time it was just an idea. Obviously this came into being right after Ross was fired a month or so ago. So it happened quickly. When Williams and other were hired back, it was still 18-24 months before IE was going.

Serious question, are you Ross or are you Travis? You get crazy defensive whenever Travis gets criticized. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen it either.

He called in all the time when on vacation to do the show. He also would have shows on holidays when they could've easily been off the air. Idk, seemed like something that was more than a hobby.

And seeing that Travis and Ross have a new show and it's starting Monday...Travis didn't tell anyone so that others didn't get in trouble. Obviously to have a graphic ready and launching Monday, this was in the works for a while. Good for them.

That had to be an interesting conversation between Travis and Sean after the show ended about Travis having this all lined up without telling Sean. Travis Sean and Ross are all good friends so that had to hurt a bit knowing those 2 were working behind the scenes on something and then have it dropped on him like that. I get not wanting to reveal it until today but at the very least I don't get what the harm would have been to tell Sean either before they went on air today or even during one of their breaks that he was leaving instead of dropping that on him while on air for him to process live like that.

Umm neither. I just don't understand the hate for something that doesn't affect your life. The more local shows the better, even CW has said this. You want there to be more Iowa State coverage or talk then support local. You can just turn to a different station. Also, why is it that if I defend Ross or Travis...I must be one of them? I enjoy their show and take it as entertainment for the morning. I don't take it seriously, it's a morning show. 2GNC must drive you nuts then or FART back in the day.

Plausible deniability. Plus, perhaps they'll bring Sean over soon enough given how KXNO has been going. I mean Murphy and Andy didn't wait long before bringing Downs back on.

This is ironic given your last hour worth of posts. Why defend a guy for an hour when it doesn’t affect you at all, unless it does.

More local (Omaha) programming please!

I know I've had actual interactions with Travis and Ross that I can base my feelings on. For others, it doesn't take much listening to establish opinions on either of these two. They're not knowledgeable about sports so they fill time with boobs, farts, and on air squeal laughing. It's painfully obvious how much Travis loves himself and his life while still living vicariously through Sean's love life. Ross has opinions that are factual and if yours go against his, he gets real angry and spins out pretty quick. This is true for sports, politics, religion, life.
