Hawkeyes made me mad. I dont mind that you go here, but you don't need to be an arrogant punk about it.

I tried to think of if I would wear all my Cyclone gear if I went to iowa, and then just started laughing out loud (yeah i didn't just put lol, that how i wagon-wheel)

I was exiled in the People's Republic of Iowa City for 10 years.....and i wore more ISU stuff than when I was at ISU....it was easier because ISU was winning lots while I was there. Nothing is more fun than taunting squawk fans....is like picking on younger siblings....fun and easy
well done kid! now go up to their face and start singing the fight song! if they try any rock chalk jayhawk you are allowed by law (and me) to roundhouse kick 'em in the face.

1) Is that person related to you?
2) If yes, do they have lots of money?
3) If yes, are you in their will?
What the big deal. Ik they are at Iowa State, but most people go to college to get a degree from ISU not because they like them.
This is the first time I have been back to Ames in some time . . the biggest irritation and puzzling to say the least . . the number of Iowa show offs strutting around town in over the top Iowa gear. Most of these wanna be punks are wearing Iowa sweatshirts underneath some sort of external Iowa blast jacket . . topped off with a Fred Flintsone hat. If this happened 20 years ago or more . . these punks, at best, would be laughing stock . . worst case scenario, get their rear ends kicked to the turf. The Millenium crowd now seems to have very little interest in confronting these morons.
Title IX afforded better opportunities for female athetes. Affirmative Action was designed to prevent discrimination against minorites. ISU's new program called Affirmative Hawk Entitlement XII is designed to allows Hawks of any type to enroll. Sure it hurts the overall GPA, quadruples the crime rate in Ames and degrades property values, but who else is going to take them? ISU is just doing it's part to help the intellectually challenged.
Disclaimer: The only purpose of this post was to make fun of Hawk fans. In no way was it meant to demean Title IX or affirmative action.

I see way to much Texas stuff around Ames. My son and his buddies it's all burnt orange and white. I can't stand that pukey orange color.
Ya i hate all of the bandwagon texas fans in ames, there is a ton of them at ahs.
