I wish I shared others’ optimism that this is just a matter of making shots. I’m unsure how ISU will get any good looks. Who does Houston have to help on? Maaaybe Jackson, and he’s taken a liking to dribbling it off himself or getting stripped. So they can be extremely aggressive guarding even minimal offensive contributors. I think ISU will feed Jefferson, tell Milan to be a midrange demon, and take their chances. There aren’t a lot of other options, they’re not going to outshoot Houston. There’s not suddenly a magic way to attack the third-best defense in the country because they don’t have tape on Nojus or something
