I haven't seen Steve Karlin in a long time. Did he have some health issues? Seems like he's not as smooth speaking as I recall.
I only barely recall the Big Earl case. I missed that one and tupac while studying in UK. Maybe they are related!

I thought it was funny they did a piece on this - I file it under "Local strip club owner/nafarious person murdered who cares"

The 2 Iowa cold cases I'd most like to see solved are:
1) Jodi Huisentruit - Mason City TV presenter abducted outside her apt in 1995.
2) Sheila Collins - ISU coed in 1968 used Union ride-board for a ride home to Illinois, found dead/strangled a day or two later along gravel road near Colo, Iowa
Was glad to see the 1979 Michelle Martinko case recently solved using DNA. Here she is with the guy they put away: https://cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com/gray/JLYEV2IFBRJMDENEIE3NH5BXKA.jpg

As bad is it is to say, is there much point in solving a cold case from 1968 anymore? Good chance the person that killed her is in their 80s and probably less than 50/50 whether they are even alive anymore.

I’m guessing the victim’s family might want to know.
