Who killed Big Earl? Family holds hope in unsolved murder of Iowa strip club owner

"Big Earl" Hamilton was shot and killed outside of his club, Big Earl's Goldmine, in the wee hours of the morning on Sept. 29, 1996. 25 years later, his family continues to hope for a breakthrough in the cold case.

I haven't seen Steve Karlin in a long time. Did he have some health issues? Seems like he's not as smooth speaking as I recall.
I only barely recall the Big Earl case. I missed that one and tupac while studying in UK. Maybe they are related!

1) Jodi Huisentruit - Mason City TV presenter abducted outside her apt in 1995.
2) Sheila Collins - ISU coed in 1968 used Union ride-board for a ride home to Illinois, found dead/strangled a day or two later along gravel road near Colo, Iowa

As bad is it is to say, is there much point in solving a cold case from 1968 anymore? Good chance the person that killed her is in their 80s and probably less than 50/50 whether they are even alive anymore.
