Kansas State fans are madder than I have ever seen

I watched on CBS. What the announcers said when Tang came over to TJ to discuss something after Tang had already alerted the officials to a problem. TJ listened to him then went off on the officials as TJ, according to the announcers, had already received a warning about being out of the coaching box. TJ wanted the officials to warn or penalize Tang for walking out of his coaching box clear down to TJ to talk. Of course, nothing was done. But Tang is the victim.

It never happened apparently.

But then,....."I'm sorry to anybody who was offended by what I said" non-apology after Saturday's evisceration at Houston.

“I made some comments about officiating,” Tang said, “and there are channels that the Big 12 provides that if I have an issue that I can follow and go through. I did not follow the proper protocol. For that, I apologize. I want to apologize to Brett Yormark, John Williams and the Big 12 if I had said or did anything that would dim the light on what is the best basketball conference in America."

That's the main 247 guy. And I'm glad I watched this because it's a much different tone (less accusatory) than what his crony posted on the board.
It’s passive aggressive accusation that smears the recipient. It also confirms, “they were told” and he says “KSU staff believe”

This wasn’t, “there’s some rumors online, but I haven’t heard anything from Tang/staff. “I don’t have evidence, but this is what I was told”

I’m not mad at him, but with things like that, you can’t turn around and act surprised when ISU denies it in the strongest language possible.
Boy, I've lost what little respect I had for KState's John Kurtz.

Yeah, I never really liked or listened to Kurtz, but after this, the only reason I'll ever listen to him again is to see what stupid take he has that day. Kutrz is unbelievably wrong and in total lockdown homer mode.

It's kinda long but I just had to make a rebuttal to Kurtz, in the comments section. Thankfully it wasn't deleted. Here's what I said:
"Wow, Kurtz double down will ya! Were you at the game? Did you see Otz? He never went berserk. Not his style. No spying. You keep making stuff up. Lies. I stopped counting. Oh, and Otzelberger wasn't going nuts either! He was clam calm the whole way. Re-watch the whole game again on all of this and the interactions. Care to say anything about what Tang was really complaining about, other than your 'opinion', like at about the 8' min mark when Tang lost it? No? He's just upset with Otzelberger that he was nuts earlier, and the crowd? The crowd, sure, it can get rowdy in Hilton. Otz though, was calm the whole way. The crowd did get crazy after Tangs antics/accusations, arm waving, going out of the box, and confronting Otz, and your assistant coach, who cussed out our student mgr's, sweeping the floor. Trust me, those actions all made it to the crowd pretty quickly, and that's when the crowd amped up. And you almost apologized for your admitted mistake of posting your misconceptions of events at the game, but then didn't, and kept the lies going. Well done. And admitting that you are defending Tang because of how you respect his character so much, that you want to give him the "benefit of the doubt", and that he 'must' have seen 'something' really bad by ISU? Dude! In other words, more hearsay and false accusations? You don't really know, you think. Isn't that right? Gossip and lying is wrong, John. Time to reconsider. If your fans believe what you say, I'm sorry for them, they are getting false information. As far as the officiating, yes, bad calls, several, but on both sides. K-State might have had a couple more against them that night. It happens. ISU/KSU have had plenty of games like that. Don't give people and K-State fans false information that accuses ISU of wrongdoing though. That's baseless, made-up, and one-sided. It's your misinformed opinion, and it's wrong. I don't respect you at all for that! I respect K-State, the institution, and K-State fans, but KSU fans, you shouldn't listen to John on this one. If you do and don't hear the other side, respect goes down from all reasonable ISU fans. The K-State rivalry is a good one. It doesn't need to become heated or combative out of the ordinary. And that's what this story is, out of the ordinary and way out of line. / To K-State fans, peace. / To John Kurtz, you admit to not being a journalist, you got that very right. And get your facts straight or shut up."

Kurtz tried to say that Tang calmly walked over to our coaches box to talk to TJ and TJ "just absolutely lost his mind." I get the trolling thing but he went on the WVU pod and said that.
Kurtz is an absolute loser. Dude making a living off of realignment despite having absolutely zero sources. He is clown.

Kurtz is nothing more than a typical hack who knows how to get clicks. He goes at Iowa State a lot mostly to get a reaction from our fanbase because we are easy to rile up. In turn it helps his business out.
Good point! All the more reason to never click on his stuff again, even if I might want to.

The great thing about Otz is that he was really wanting to let it go and move on. The team doesn't need that distraction. The media and the K State universe rand wild with the accusations. And at the center is Tang, who did jack and **** to quell things as his own sister continued to wait on social media. The buck stops with him. And he's side stepping it. And EMAW is walking it back by playing "well that's what I was told" play. It's trash behacior, and it's emblematic of broader issues regarding social media.

Old school big 8 coaches would have ripped Tang a new one, and taken their punishment in stride as a result.
Can anyone link a couple of Twitter posts from Tang's sister? Was she the one pointing to the fans at the game also, or his wife? Is Tang's wife also making dumb posts on Twitter?

Edit: Found this..

Due to morbid curiosity, peeked at Kurtz’s Twitter timeline - “petulant child” doesn’t do it justice. Thankful Chris and Brent don’t act like that.
Chris (and I think maybe Brent too), are journalists, and have that professionalism. I think they at least try to be fair.

Kurtz a K-State POD hacker.

Thought Tang actually claimed both were “good”. I think Kellis must want everyone to be happy.
Damn, bonus points for the Kellis reference. I was one of the boys in the yard. Looking to date her now that she’s moved on from Bill Murray.
