The Kids decision making is worthy of a LOL. I wish him success at the school of his choosing.

I think decommitting from Iowa is anything but an LOL decision. Probably the best decision in his short lifetime.

What did he say to other Iowa recruits? I'm intrigued, might be worth a follow if that continues.

Have to wonder how many schools will go after this kid at this point. Talented but is it worth it?

His highlights are pretty impressive. Better than I expected. He is very aggressive for a really big kid.

I would say he will have plenty of options.

He moves like he's wearing cement shoes, he needs to lose a ton of weight, he has personal issues. He will be a big gamble for the school that eventually signs him.

Will KF take him a 4th time?

I'd have no problem bringing him in as a walk-on, but probably wouldn't waste an offer on him.

Check must have bounced.

At some point if his family has HIS best interests at heart they would say, kid this is your choice and we will support you wherever you go.

This kid needs some direction in his life. This is just sad.

Actually at this point I think that is part of the problem. His family doesn't seem to be offering the "support" and "direction" that the kid is lacking.

I feel bad for the kid actually. Sure it's funny to a point but I honestly think he is being pulled in a 100 different directions and doesn't have someone helping him make proper decisions and possibly even pushing him to make horrible ones.

Feel bad for the kid as well. It would appear there are some pretty heavy outside influences on his decision. To me it feels as if there is a family member or someone trying to get something out of it as well (i.e. KU basketball parents and local jobs). I'm sure they've tried but a coach, principal, teacher, or someone needs to intervene and try to guide the kid in his best interest.

This is a sad case. Kid doesn't have the best family life and lacks direction due to that. He moved to Iowa to live with his dad and then his dad passed away. Hopefully someone in his life steps up and helps the kid.
