I hope it has good drainage. I know that sounds obvious, but the raised berm of Center Drive created a bowl effect around Hilton in 2010. I’ve always wondered if the Center Drive berm was a big part of why Hilton flooded. Water was shooting out of the tunnels into the parking lots because there was so much water building up around Hilton.

Is “CyTown” the official name for the entertainment district, or will it wind up being known as something a bit less hokey? Maybe something like “Trice Village”. Anything sounds better than CyTown. Hopefully naming rights won’t be sold to the Moon Family.

CyTown is a SIGNIFICANTLY better name over anything I have heard since it was announced..

Keep in mind Pollard is modeling this after Titletown in Green Bay (For those unaware, he's a diehard packer fan)

Also, it makes sense in the context of Ames already having "campustown" and downtown as two other districts.

I have a feeling in the end it will be something like CyTown presented by "xxxxx", or something like Pioneer CyTown, MidAmerican CyTown etc....

Maybe not but I have to believe there will be some serious sponsorship possibilities, maybe it will just be parts of the district like MidAmerican Plaza at CyTown, for a part of it etc.., or the entire thing we will see but I really feel there will be some sponsorships in play.

Probably true. All of the stalls and urinals have some type of sponsor anymore, I won’t be surprised to see logos plastered all over the place.

Whatever gets it built to it's full potential I guess don't really care.

Pollard’s Busch…………………… Light District.
In all sincerity, this is an amazing opportunity for a Busch Light sponsorship. Even if it isn't naming rights for the whole place but merely a Busch Bar in CyTown. Keep the stereotype rolling!
