I'm not sure I can recall pulling a high profile player from that area of the state.
Paul Doerrfeld, Jessan Gray, LA Pomlee from Davenport, Brady Ernst from Clinton and way back a Breitbach kid from Dubuque. Ooh, never mind, you said high profile.

I am impressed with the talented guys TJ continues to bring in. I recommend we let him do more of it.
Yea but he really mis-handled BRE - played him way too much. And he doesn't understand the flow of the game. Not to mention FT issues. I need to see 2-3 more years and some really improvement in understanding the fundamentals of the game.

Hokroach cope

So hokish. School that cranks out Doctors and Lawyers can't drum up any revenue for their NIL.

And if I understand the rules of hokdom correctly, it doesn't matter how good of a recruit you are, once you become a hok, you are blessed with the highest level of talent because, well, you are a hok.

Goes to show us yet again the intelligence level of hawk fans. I suppose same dude has no idea what the ANF logo on their helmet stands for.

I'm guessing they are referring to Dennis Albaugh (agrichemicals)... Dennis is very generous to ISU but is far from a T Boone Pickens who would just help us buy players. After all, Dennis is a DMACC grad and half his family is TOE fans

I'm not gonna lie, you had me there for a minute that you were actually serious.

Good one.

Doesn't scream in the refs faces enough.

Watching ISU grind out late season road conference games was tough to watch.

Why is it meh? He has offers from other major programs, and wants to commit. TJ wouldn’t have offered and wanted him to commit if he didn’t think it was a high likelihood that the kid will
Be a good one.
I think some might worry he has 3 years for some damn Blue Blood to swoop in and entice him with more $$$.

That post is a bit much, geez...
Agree. Josiah seems like a nice player. A write-up like that is a lot of pressure though. Why not just let the kid grow up and develop?

Welcome Josiah! Hope you stay with us.

Good catch. Does he have a Technical yet? I mean the master - Bill Self - has mastered the art of the technical. TJ isn't going to get the respect of his team, the opponent or the refs he doesn't release his inner Fran.

I'm hoping he saves the T for after an opponents' made basket when ISU has a small lead on the road with like a minute left.

Nothing sends a message like giving the opponent a free point, a possession and momentum into the last moments of the game.

Holy crap. Those are the highlights of a 6'5" Freshman in high school? Honestly, this looks like an even better potential pick-up than the "ranking." This guy could be our best ever. He's got lots of potential. What if he grows a few more inches (seems reasonable) and becomes a 6'8" Jayson Tatum type. He looks like he has the body for it.

This staff is doing incredible things..... I wouldn't be surprised to see him move up the "rankings" in the years to come and every blue blood want him. Wow. Hope we can hold on to him.
