I can't help but think that we will never see the I State logo on a helmet again..... hope I'm right.

I like the block I-STATE, but it sucks on the helmet. Looks better on the 50-yard line/center court. I feel like last season broke the curse of the Walden era script logo. It's associated with winning now. We'll just probably never see it on a yellow helmet again.

On the black and white helmet there's no better look for us.

Didn’t hooters go under? At the very least, they are closing locations, not opening them. I will say their wings are great…blows BWW out of the water. My wife has no issues going in there to eat if it’s between the two of those. Foods just better.
To be fair this was at least a decade ago that it happened.

I dont think they have officially went under. And there is some weird corporate thing, as there are actually 2 versions of Hooters, one is something to do with the original owners and one that they sold off to a corporation. From what I remember off the top of my head, the corporation side is having financial issues, and at risk. But the original owners have stepped in and offered to buy it back or something like that.

I would say they are having similar issues to many of the national food chains, and yes they have definitely closed down many locations over the years. No idea if they are adding any right now, anywhere. But if you go to their website they still have a lot of locations especially south and east.

According to this site there are 300 in USA, and more worldwide:

Restaurant expense have risen 30% in the last 5 years. TGIF , Red Lobster, Hooters, Applebees, Ruby Tuesday, IHOP, Golden Corral, and a corporate parent of Wendys/Pizza Hut all went through the bankruptcy process.

It's jealousy. And it's all they have. Because they know the hard truth. Despite the fact that they have dramatically more resources than ISU, they have become little brother. Our football and men's basketball programs are both better than theirs, and are getting more national respect than theirs. We will see what happens with their MBB program, but as long as Campbell and Ferentz are in place, ISU has a better football program.
We still need to catch up with them in wrestling, we’ve never gotten back to the dominance we had before Gable went to EIU.
