he lacks discipline sometimes, but is a good experienced player. You guys calling him horrible are terrible fans.

He's turned the ball over several times, taken numerous bad shots, and let Pledger hit 2 threes by going under screens instead of over them.

I'd say he's playing pretty horrible right now.
And a senior to boot! I'm not sure what it is about him but I don't have much confidence in him to guard or make smart decisions.

ISU needs Chris Allen...they are not as good without him. They don't beat KSU without him and may not have won today. He hit some big shots! Yes he needs to work on his D, but is still a very valuable player.

When Allen is open behind the arch and the ball is PASSED to him, he is dangerous. When he tries to create his own shot, it's ugly.

I have nothing against Chris. But if he were the player we all thought he was going to be......oh man. I think we could have won the Big 12.

The number of ill-advised shots he takes is gradually decreasing. Probably too gradual for the liking of everyone on here. But the bottom line is Iowa State doesn't win the last two games without him.

Quit complaining, If CA doesn't have a good game like against KState everyone has to complain. Yeah he takes some bad shots but without him we are not the team we are now.

I actually think he has played better since Fred lit into him. The entire team played unselfish today including CA for maybe the first game of the year.

Our fanbase has been way too critical of CA who has had to play a tough position this year. He is really playing better now and I hope he continues taking the ball to the hoop.

I'd say he's playing pretty horrible right now.

11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists is not playing "horrible". He took a few bad shots but overall he played a game we can live with.

CA played pretty poorly in a few early games this season and made some bad decisions. At that time, everybody jumped on the hate CA bandwagon, which is fine. The problem is those people who can't let it go and now everytime he misses a shot, somebody feels the need to call it out, even if it wasn't a bad shot.

I think some of those 'ill advised' shots are his way to creating the spark needed to win games going foward. Problem is when he misses or has TO's, it appears like a forced, boneheaded move. I truly believe in the big games to be played in the next six weeks, he'll be the spark that gets us through. We'll see I guess.
