No one is disowning him from the ISU family any more than we did when Klein tried to break someone's neck.
Sure, Knott was repeatedly told how to avoid this type of situation when he signed, but we'll just assume it was an "accident" on his part.
He didn't know.
i think people pushing the "you don't understand the supplement industry" argument are trying WAY too hard to not have to believe Jake could have done something wrong.
This. Goes the same for strippers and plastic surgery.
I said that I have no idea if it was an honest mistake or if he did something on purpose.
I just can't get too worked up about a player's first PED positive. I'd get plenty worked up if he got another one after getting caught though.
Jake is on record with CW saying he'll talk more.Oh so you think Jake is going to talk about it more? Or somehow more information is going to come out?
I don't think so.
There is definitely some truth to this, but in that case, those supplement manufacturers need some sort of control to make sure stuff like that doesnt happen.
He tested positive for a stimulant (like caffiene or crystal meth) not a steroid or muscle growth enhancer or hormone. Tweekers aren't known to be big.I thought he was looking pretty huge when I saw him at Foley's in NYC. My friend and I even discussed the possibility of him using steroids.
Anyway, I await the day when PEDs are the norm and we don't care anymore. Or the day when they do blood testing every day before a game (or weekly in MLB/NBA/NHL). Let it all happen or really enforce it.
It's not the 90's/00's any more. No one cares about PEDS
This sounds like a pretty standard apology from someone who knew what they did.
