Good landing spot, hope he is able to carve out a role right away for them. Really all of our guys have landed at pretty good spots so far, still am waiting to see where D Wat ends up
It took me a minute to realize Pitino isn't the HC anymore.
Looks like new coach was at UCSD and solid in D2 and when they stepped up to D1 they got better every year.

UNM is about as perfect of a landing spot as anyone could have hoped for for Rock. They had a great run in the last half of the 90's and another decent run in the early part of the 10's. Pitino put them back as relevant and hopefully this new coach for them is good at the next level up for him. Rock has a chance to get in there and get some very good minutes his first season and could become one of their core pieces that makes them a dangerous team. Best of luck. Sad it didn't work out here, but he's got the size and could be dangerous if he continues to develop.

Nojus and Rock going to New Mexico and Pitt proves they could have been very productive Big 12 players if just given a chance. I honestly thought Rock would end up in the MVC or Summit.
