I like early games, you get time to recover after the game for the night and to watch other football games. If the games is at 2:30 or 4:30 I don't get to watch any other football games.

Hey, if you can't do Brats and Beer at 0500, it's time to hang the whole "fan" thing up. Seriously, I love the 1130 start time. It gives me a chance to finish supper and then listen to the game. And the game gets over before 4:30 am.

Well the good news is people on the west coast could still be hung over/still sleeping in and will miss the mass murder of cyclones. Kegs and eggs two weeks in a row it is! At least I have the rest of the day to take my mind off the game again.

The thing I do enjoy about an early kickoff, is I am home in time to see the afternoon/evening football games.

And last Saturday, there were some great ones.

You guys are getting too used to those evening games. Before the last few years EVERY game was either at 11 or 1.

I don't mind the 1pm games, its the 11:30 ones that kill me. Getting up at 4am is hard to do week after week. 2 extra hours for a 1:30 game makes a world of difference.

Same here. I'm perfectly happy with the 1:00 games. I didn't really want an evening game in October either -although it's not that bad. If the weather is decent, watching games while tailgating is the way to do it.

1:00 would not be that bad for this weekend. Game prob will not last past 2, so it would still be late afternoon when you got home.

Can we change the game to 1pm this weekend with no TV? Surely some wise Cyclone fan would be willing to cough up the cash (that we're getting for being on TV) to spare us the embarrassment.

I don't mind the early games much either besides the whole getting up early thing. It seems like you have more time after the game instead of using up a whole day for tailgating and football.

We had a great early morning of tailgating...then 3 hours of foolishness.

After that...a nice afternoon/evening of great football, awesome meal and hanging out with the family.

If the early kicks are like that each week, I'll take 'em.
