Uh, oh. Iowa State is giving me hope...

I don't know that we should "sit" Garrett, but when he starts playing out of control I think a few minutes on the bench would send a message.

I am not one of Petersen's fans, but he is the one we need out there right now.

If he was only a little quicker, and would drive.

I don't mean to rip on either guy, but BP and DG are two different point guards. BP is almost like a shooting guard out there, he's just trying to run the offense and take the open shot, not to create anything. DG is a slasherit and creator. He's going to have more turnovers partly because he's a freshman, but more because he is a creator on offense and IMO because he needs to learn when to take the shot himself and when to dish it off. They're two different style players that each bring something different to the court that ISU needs.

Very interesting substitutions by coach this game that have had huge effects on this game, most recently CJ in the game and that time.

Cory is feeling the pressure. He missed his shot badly. but he is playing well on the defensive end. It looks like he's more comfortable on defense.

This game is an indicator of a very frustrating conference season ahead IMO. Mizzou looked awful good today. I don't know who we can beat.

We'll surprise someone. They will build on this game, certainly.

They played VERY well in the first half.

we are inexperienced, baylor had better guard play...nothing new here, but Brackins is gonna be a stud in the big 12 in his career. we need to learn to play smarter and have better shot selection.

We need this Brackins all the time. We've been extremely streaky today, but if we can get him some consistency, he's going to free up our guard play, along with Hubalek.
