we dropped in kenpom and iowa moved up. But I bet we get a small movement in AP, coaches, sagarin and rpi. We're getting close to being one of the only unbeatens in a major conference...win that tournament and I think I'd even admit we'll be overrated at that point.

Like redline said it depends on what happens with the teams ranked ahead, but it's going to be hard for voters to overlook ISU now that they have beat two top 25 teams with one of those teams being ranked in the top ten at the time.

Everyone seems all about Kenpom over RPI lately. What am I missing?

Michigan is 6-3 with a loss to ISU….rated 20th
ISU is 8-0 with wins over Mich, Iowa, and BYU….rated 22nd.

Top 15?

Teams around our current ranking:
Wichita St (#12AP) plays Tenn tomorrow
Kansas (#13) will probably drop further
Baylor (#14\18) hasnt played anyone this week, they'll likely hold steady\float up
Villanova (#14Coaches) hasn played
Oregon (#15 AP) plays Illinois tomorrow
Memphis (#15\16, 1 above us in both polls) plays #19 florida tomorrow
#19 florida plays memphis tomorrow, beat KU earlier this week.

Too early to tell. Lots of b-ball left to play in the next two days.

I love the fact that we're 8-0 and ranked highly. It certainly helps on selection Sunday.

If we take care of business in the conference, we could be looking at a 4-5 seed or higher.

That's stacking the odds in your favor for advancing in the tourney.

Im going to say #15 or 14. Not many people are going to give the Michigan win that much weight now that we have seen how good/bad they truly are.

Truth.

I mean screwed or not in that final game last year, it would be nice to not run into a team of that caliber until the sweet 16 at least.

I would say 16 but 13 after they beat George Mason, Oregon State, and Saint Mary's in Hawaii.

Now if Michigan pulls off a win over Arizona tomorow (theyre favored by 1) that might give them some more weight again.

I like Oregon State and all... but they're not getting past Boise. They might actually be the best or second best team we've played this year, unless they've really flopped so far and I haven't noticed. They return like their top 6 scorers off last years NCAA tourney team... they could pretty easily beat us and will probably handle Oregon State without terrible difficulty.

Guessing 12 and will probably be ahead of Kansas (awesome!). Win George Mason, Oregon State, Saint Mary's/Boise State and you could be looking at a top 10 team going into the Northern Illinois game.

Bracket | Matchups | Tournament | Diamond Head Classic

Oregon State, if they run into Boise, wont run into them before us.

We'll play GMU, then Oregon State\Akron
