On the coaches supposedly trying to make this case go away. I really, really hope that's not true. I will say though, where there is smoke, there is fire. How many times has something been posted here, people freak out about it and cry false rumor - only for it later to happen exactly how the original poster portrayed it?

Many, many times.

I don't think it's "many, many", and I don't think it's more than when something gets posted here, people call it a false rumor, and it later turns out to be really nothing but a false rumor. See the recent ISU coaching searches...I'd have to use my fingers and toes to count up all the different names that were flung around as ISU's next head FB coach.

If the items listed in the search warrant were found, why haven't there been any charges until today ? How soon Police can charge someone in this case ?

My guess is that the remaining investigation on this case is around the son who took the card up to Ames, and claims it was stolen from him. Was it really stolen from him, or was he involved in the purchase of the items?

Duh!
I just hope all these rumblings of CPR going to the victim aren't true, let the judicial system work itself out, I dont know if he needs to use Sims as an example, but it all comes down to what was found.

You mean all the rumblings from the Hawkeye Lounge? Please stop perpetuating them. How would CPR even know who the victim was? This is silly.

I think you're reaching...
Are you Veronica Gonzalez' son?

I work with the lady. What KPratt states is true.

I haven't seen any cyclone fans bring this up. Everyone is just responding to a hawk troll that initially said it. Maybe there is something to this effect on the premium boards, but thus far no one with credibility has confirmed or even suggested it that I've seen.

Not on any Cyclone premium boards. Again, it was started on a hawk board and brought here. Sigh.

So charges have been filed?

No, no charges have been filed. I just wonder if the items turned out, why didn't the cops charge him immediately ? It's been almost 2 working days, I assume if there's a strong evidence: why delay charging the individual suspected of commiting this crime ?

Well for one the cops don't charge him, the County Attorney does. In doing so the County Attorney has to review the case and the facts and see if there is enough to charge him. So if the County Attorney is on vacation for instance there could be a delay with charges until he reviews the case.

No, no they arent... You're a perfect example of a little brother/clown....

Let's just set the record straight on the whole Super Bowl idea. This is a total myth started by hawk fans to allow them to sleep at night after the 5 *** kickings that we handed them in a row. Their superiority complex would not allow them to admit that the Clones rocked their **** on the FIELD, so they had to come up with an excuse. Thus it became the ISU vs. Iowa game is ISU's Super Bowl and the theory that Iowa simply doesn't care about that game. Quite simply it is just a hawk defense mechanism to explain away their losses to a team they consider inferior. In the end it is a detour from the reality that they aren't as superior as they would like to think and we aren't quite as bad as they wish we were. There you have it.

If it ever came out that Rhoads broke ncaa rules on purpose, or was caught in a recruiting scandal, or even worse such as implied here....I would be completely thrown by that. I shouldn't think of him as a patron saint or anything, but he seems like a guy that strives to do everything the right way.
