Not sure how to take this. If you mean the portal, yes, it opened yesterday.
As far as it being Alston, he was probably getting beat out by underclassmen, and the ECU kid will be really really good

Bummed on this one. I thought he would get a chance to shine this year to fill in Higgins' role. From his tape and the limited snaps he got, it looked like he had good size and hands. I was hoping he'd excel with an expanded role and after getting a year in the program.
What, losing excess players from crowded rooms, because of that stupid 105 roster limit? Yep.
Ten freshmen, a JC and another Portal yet to arrive means there are still spots to clear.

I think he got jumped by Sowell. With Eskikdsen also doing well, and Dom Overby looming, and Karon Brookins arriving this summer—all outside guys—there are only so many balls to go around.
Guessing he’ll go somewhere he can be the main man.
I thought he could be a dude, at one point. Felt like they tried to get him on the field a good amount at the end of last year, but don’t recall him making a huge impact by any means

A lot of the players are saying that Eskildsen had a tremendous spring camp.
He’s not leaving for money I guarantee that. Guessing he’s dropping down to G5 to get a starting spot. The day Sowell stepped on campus pretty much eliminated his chance at starting
His big catch against Miami could be argued as one of the most important plays of the game in my opinion.
So that makes 13 guys into the portal since the season ended. Looks like we need to trim another 18 yet. Every school is going through this same thing as this is the transition year to 105 players.
If I ran this as a business and I had to pay every employee, seems like i could get under 105 to keep just the best guys to play the games. Look at the NFL. Although I admit, CMC seems to find a way to get just about everyone involved. So maybe he really wants all 105.

Sowell was an elite baseball prospect and has great size/speed. I wouldn’t be shocked if he was a 1,000 yard receiver next year.
