Is Tiller injured?

Please don't turn this into a Arnaud/Tiller thing because thats not what I am asking. I noticed that when they were warming up that Tiller would not plant his left foot when he was throwing. Then when they run the first and second team offense against the defense (right before they do the practice punt) Capello was leading the second team offense with Tiller standing right there talking to him. Also, Tiller didn't run out of the tunnel with the rest of the team...he went and snuck around the end and slowly jogged to the bench.

What really made me question was that right after the play where Arnaud hurt his arm again and he had it hanging to his side...Tiller didn't even grab his helmet. And after the dropped punt, Arnaud came back out and played the rest of the game hurt (big props for him!) Austin very rarely ran the ball the rest of the game and they usually brought Woody in on short yardage plays when Arnaud usually takes the ball himself.

I was just wondering if anybody heard anything because I haven't seen anything posted.

Now that you mention it, I seem to recall seeing #14 throwing a ball on the sidelines on TV when Austen came off the field with what looked like a reinjured shoulder. You might be on to something.

Yep I'm pretty sure he tweaked his knee late 1st half/halftime warmups of the UNI game. He still managed to play the rest of the game, but I don't think they really tried to use his running ability in the 2nd half. If I recall he has had some minor knee surgery to clean some things up. Hopefully he can get completely healthy, because any sort of leg injury severely hampers probably his greatest strength of running the ball.

on a side note -- has anybody heard anything about the possibility of the Utah game moving to 9 pm and being on a bigger station? not wanting to start a rumor or anything...just seeing if anybody else has heard anything

That would be almost impossible at this point, but quite honestly, I'd be alright with this. It's already a night game, I'd probably watch the 11AM games, and then head up to Ames.

You say not starting a rumor, but is this something you've heard or are you just throwing it out there?

Id guess the chances of it would be low... and wow thatd be a late night.

Wouldn't this be the same time slot that Iowa played the U of A on ESPN? I'm not sure if ESPN has committed to broadcasting a game in this slot yet, but it would be cool if they picked it up. The question is, can they at this point? Is ESPN committed to broadcasting a Pac 10 game in this slot? FCS has been advertising the game like crazy since Saturday. I'm sure they are excited to be getting a broadcast of a Top 10 team. I can't imagine they would be pleased if ESPN swooped in and stole the broadcast from them though.

I believe it's too late to make that change. Once officially published, done deal is my uneducated guess.

I was watching him during half time of UNI game. He was running forward then stopped suddenly and grabbed left knee. 5 minutes later he had an extra brace on that knee. My nephew has a football player in his frat and he indicated that Tiller would most likely not be available for the TT game. I also noticed that Capello was warming up on sideline several times during the TT game.

14 hours of tailgating BEFORE kickoff... That would be an amazing day!

Yep, I'm sure they are too...but I bet the fans are not too happy this isn't in HD. But...I'm just glad I can see it.
