Is Breece Hall the best player in the B12?

Generally, POY is the best player on the best team. Hall is certainly the best player at Iowa State. We'll have to wait for the conference to play-out to determine which school has the best team.

The OP didn't ask if he was the POY. It asked if he was the best player. We all have seen great players not win the POY for the reason you stated. Is he the best player?
I would say to this point in time, Hall's the best player in the conference, yes. That's partly because running back and quarterback get more "views" than defensive players like Texas's Joseph Ossai.
You have to go all the way back to last year when the conference player of the year wasn't on the conference champion team.
I'd give Ossai the nod. Hall is the best offensive player, he's been far more productive than Chubba.
And to add to that, the two years prior to last year, the POY winners were also the Heisman winners, so yea.

Likely not but his shiftiness, patience waiting to hit the wholes at the right time, tackle breaking ability and his speed reminds me a lot of henry
I'll probably get ripped for this but the way he runs really reminds me of Adrian Peterson at Oklahoma. In the NFL AP turned into more of a just straight out-power you and beat you down until he broke one guy, but at Okie I remember him being a tall runner with big strides that used his shoulders insanely well to position defenses or get them leaning how he wanted so then he could bounce it outside or cut it up, and ran through people when he needed to, rarely getting taken down by an arm tackle. His vision and ability to know when to lower his shoulder or try to turn on the jets is really really impressive for a true soph just over halfway through his second year.
Now, will he continue to progress and run like AP did on the Vikes, I don't think so. I've heard the Curtis Martin comparisons and I actually really like that one. Earl isn't bad either, but he's such a beast I don't want to compare him to that level just yet.

Just in terms of running style, I think AP at Oklahoma is a very good comparison. Adrian was just an absolute freak which made him a better running back but I think it's a fair comparison.

Glad someone else sees it. Again, he is certainly a more "powerful"back than breece in peoples mind, but looking at his OU highlights there are a lot of runs where he is just straight up beating people with moves and speed, not running them over. I'd say Breece runs "smoother" it just looks fluid where AP was still brutish in his running style when he was trying to turn it to second gear.
I agree. But it’s nothing against Breece. Henry is just on a different universe.
