Honestly, i'm shocked that's an ISU cheerleader... would've guessed it was Florida State or something... I'm impressed.

Actually the former dance team member sitting across from me at work right now is a pretty hot specimen!

We being ISU fans, know that they (hot cheerleaders) exist you just get caught up in the media hoopla and forget. Nice to see the example on this SI site, very nice work.

Must be rough to work where you do if you have to stare at that all day =)

PS. Must have been a pretty important book, they didn't know anyone else in the class =)

I'm more concerned about the article in there that says that Friday Night Lights is coming to an end :(

I saw something in USA Today that said that one of the execs at NBC wasn't behind it. It sounded like that they have support of quite a few people, but this guy out ranks all of them and holds the power to pull it.

We might have to try to save it like Jericho was.

They pulled this story and the previous one straight out of the daily. Methinks the daily should pull a prank on April Fools day.

This is exactly what I thought. Maybe pictures like this should be posted on Cyclone Fanatic for those concerned about recruits looking at websites. Wouldn't hurt to have them see some ISU eye candy.

Supposedly there's nothing more written for future episodes after this season is over - so they haven't developed anything for the current episodes (which no one can argue have been nothing more than utter garbage - west Texas version something they show on the CW these days)...

FNL had such great promise, but the WGA strike and bad ratings besides the few that followed it religiously have killed it...

wow...Your the only person I've ever heard say that...while some of the stuff is a little blow up (the murder, etc.), it is still a great show...

Wow, some of you guys really get worked up over nothing. It's a light hearted article meant to entertain. If it was Iowa at the other end of the jokes you all would be saying how great it is I bet. Take it for what it is.

Read the Friday Night Lights article too. I love that show and hope it doesn't go away but they need to start keeping it more tied to football because I can't remember the last time the Panthers played a game and I'm tired of all the love triangle stuff. It's good in small doses but save it for the soap operas or the Grey's Anatomy's of TV shows and get back to the whole point of the show which is about Texas High School football. I did get a kick out of Seracin trying to practice drunk though, that was pretty funny last week.

It was actually 4 episodes ago that they last showed football, and it was in the last few minutes of the game. Also, from an ESPN article:
ESPN Page 2 - TMQ: Venite adoremus Gigantes

Friday Night Lights" Update: The Dillon Panthers have gone three episodes without actually playing a game. Rather than extremely unrealistic football scenes, viewers are now treated to extremely unrealistic scenes of girls' volleyball. "Friday Night Lights" has aired 14 of its planned 22 final episodes, and in that time depicted a mere six games. We've gone three straight episodes without high school football even being mentioned, though there's plenty of teen dating angst, tedious marital bickering and characters walking in the door exactly at the moment their love interest is kissing someone else. What in heck happened to this once-great show?

I believe as I stated before - this all describes what Travis and I have stated... :)

Some people get way too worked up about stuff like that. It's called "Campus Clicks" and they search through college newspapers and find something interesting. I looked at Monday's and it included articles on college students getting arrested celebrating the Super Bowl and UNLV adding Madden to their intramural sports. Don't take it so seriously.
