Why fill in the numbers on the jersey with a pattern but not the helmets? Regardless, they look great.

Just my observation, but I've seen more support for these alternates here than I have on any Iowa athletics facebook page. I'll give it up for them, they look pretty sharp.

Looking sharp! I like the uniform, not totally sold on the helmet. These are better than their stale Steeler uniforms. Also a million times better than the black uniforms they wore against Minnesota a few years back.

Looks like the helmets do have the pattern.

Those do look pretty cool. Great way to camo all the black turf pellets on the back of their jerseys when they get steamrolled by OSU.

I mean any team can get beat on any given day. Let's say that Iowa pulls off a miracle. Does that turn out to be the biggest upset this year?? I really dislike OSU aka Urban Meyer, probably worse than Iowa, but I really don't know who to pull for. Probably Iowa Besides them and Alabama, I can't stand all the kool-aid drinkers at ESPN.

Kuddos, to Lee Corso for picking ISU over TCU. Gotta love the hype we are getting!!

I know the kids love them and that is why these are mostly done, but I hate all these different uniforms. I'm old school and just want to see the original uniform for every game.
