A stat I find ridiculous still

I still find the fact that ISU hasn't scored at least 70 in a game but one time against Baylor insane. This will only help going through these next few rounds and especially against UConn. This stat boggles my mind. Maybe too many years of McDurrr ball got to me, but this is a fantastic stat and add on to it we are the only ones in the country to have a stat like that is nuts.

I loved watching Baylor beat down Creighton by 30 + points. He better get used to that, because without Doug his team was on the bubble at best.

I like to think we are 28-0 when holding our opponents to less points than what we score.

Iowa State also has averaged 81.6 ppg vs. NCAA tournament teams (average includes 4 OT periods).

28-7 and in the Sweet Sixteen - that is the most awesome record. Only one team in school history was better.

Another stat: Unlike Wichita State, ISU has beaten every team they've played at least once.

Fun fact: ISU is the only remaining 3 seed

Lending more evidence to the statement that putting us as the last 3 seed (instead of even a 2 seed) was a terrible decision by the committee. Especially when you consider that we won our 2nd (3rd) round matchup (a second round more difficult than 2 of the other 3 3 seeds faced\would have faced) without one of our top 3 players.
