That means we're guaranteed to be ranked longer than Iowa this year. at least 2 weeks vs 1 week...
You're probably thinking of basketball. (I sometimes confuse it myself).
Boggles my mind that Penn State and Oregon are in the top ten as crappy as both looked this week…and two weeks in a row for Oregon. Michigan at 17 is also a travesty.
I refuse to accept your reality and stick with my almost certainly right falsity.
Preseason poll inertia is a hell of a thing. Really sets the SEC\B10 up to be over-ranked come playoff time.
Taking Iowa's spot at 21 after taking back the Cy-Hawk trophy is the cherry on top to a great weekend.

What’s the over under of weeks their ranked the rest of the year? They can’t pass but their schedule is trash like always.
But not drop at all because "How can you drop them very far when they lost to a ranked team?"
With ISU’s favorable early schedule in conference - they are likely looking at top-15 and 5-0
We could easily be 8-0 before we hit our last 4 games that include KU, K-State, and Utah (and KU scares me a hell of a lot less after yesterday).
While it’s fun to be ranked, there’s still a lot of preseason hype and single game overreactions built into the current rankings. Remember last year when Colorado beat TCU and jumped to be ranked around #17? Clearly Colorado wasn’t worthy of being a ranked team last year
Point being is rankings are much more meaningful come late October/early November. Just keep winning and these rankings will take care of themselves

Good and agree. I’m going to the game in Morgantown and want us to be highly ranked going into that game.
