Got out the pole saw and trimmed the maple along the street here in mpls metro. Wore a 3M 95N Auro mask. Was too smokey without it.
Sidebar: Had gone to gym earlier and lifted weights for 90 minutes. No problem. Sawing or swinging an axe? Totally different!

I wish I could go five days without rain. Heck 2 consecutive rainless days would be awesome.

FWIW even last night felt a little cooler once the sun went down.
The heat in the day is tough but give me the cooler night temps.
93 at 4 pm yesterday. Forecast is for 63 at 4 pm today. Quite the drop in 24 hours.
Guess that is not entirely bad since I planted a bunch of perennials and annuals the last week and they were not liking the heat after being planted. This will give them a few days to sit in a bit.
