Im sure Iowa TEs and OLs get the benefit of the doubt, but Beyer looked pretty far from an nfl player to me.
Don’t know how a team could pass on 6’5 250lbs running under a 4.6. Very good blocker, started getting utilized later in the season. Chances are he gets drafted.

I’m not sure about that. Didn’t see much production at Iowa.

Beyer will get a shot for sure even if undrafted. I think a team will take a chance though in the draft.

Beyer had it tough on the roster. He came in with two 1st round NFL TE draft picks. When they leave early and he finally gets his shot he is injured, and then Iowa gets another NFL TE in Laporta in front of him as well.

You spelled 'hok' wrong.
Hawk, Hok, Hack, Squawk, Douche, they are all the same. The urban dictionary definition of a Hawkeye is still the winner.

Really? Huh, so ISU's TE weren't any good last year either? I mean take away 40% of ISU's games here is what you got.

Kolar 26 catches 355 yards
LaPorta 27 catches 271 yards
Beyer 11 catches 158 yards
Allen 11 catches 141 yards
Soehner 11 catches 123 yards
Why are you taking away 40% of Iowa State's games?

If ISU played 40% less games:

Hutchinson 38 catches 462 yards
Kolar 26 catches 355 yards
ISM 25 catches 345 yards
LaPorta 27 catches 271 yards
Brandon Smith 23 catches 231 yards
Nico Ragaini 18 catches 191 yards
Tyrone Tracy 14 catches for 154 yards
Shaw 12 catches 127 yards
Beyer 11 catches 158 yards
Allen 11 catches 141 yards
Soehner 11 catches 123 yards
Akers 11 catches 161 yards
Milton * injured
Scates 4 catches 80 yards

Updated with TE's and WR. Iowa's production outside of Hutchinson looks very similar. LaPorta with as many catches as Kolar, less yards. Beyer with as many catches as Allen or Soehner with more yards. ISM, Smith, Ragaini and Tracy > Shaw, Akers, Scates, Jackson, Milton (* injured).

Similar results with a QB that is one of the worst P5 QB according to you.

The idea that your case is “Iowa’s players with 100% of the targets produced almost as much as ISU’s players if you completely discount the guy with by far the highest target share” should pretty much tell you all you need to know.

Funny you ask now, and not the first time I did it. You simply said the TE's cut into WR productivity. You know the answer though, that is why you didn't ask when I posted the WR numbers.

How did I discount Hutchinson? I said that outside of him (meaning he was clearly the top WR), that Iowa's numbers were very similar.

I let it slide the first time because it was incredibly stupid. Now that you double downed on it I'm asking why you are using the 40% number

Thought this was interesting. It is REALLY going to ruffle some feathers though.

Goodson 143 carries for 762 yards 5.3 YPC
15 rec. for 152 yards, 10.1 YPR
Hall 167 carries for 943 yards, 5.6 YPC
14 rec. for 108 yard, 7.8 YPR

Sargent 76 carries for 432 yards 5.6 YPC
Nwangwu 37 carries for 203 yards 5.6 YPC
Even if you were using accurate numbers could you imagine what our RBs would do to that schedule you guys got to face? Lol

What are you talking about? ISU faced some horrible rushing defenses. Heck 7 of them were 58th or below in rushing D. Oregon, Kansas, K-State, ULL, Tech and Baylor all sucked badly vs the rush. OSU was okish vs the rush.

Well why don't you update your numbers to be accurate first and then we can address your pathetic schedule

Why does this bother you? I haven't once said Goodson > Hall this year, because he clearly wasn't. Even if both players only played 8 games, Hall outproduced Goodson.

It doesn't bother me. If you want to take away 40% of a players stats because they played 33% more games and try to compare it you're the one showing your intelligence level lol
