Hearing that he is resigning, but will finish the year.
The fact that iowa fans think he will resign midseason, and that UI would allow that news to be public, is hilarious. He may submit it, but no one will know until after the season. These Squawk fans really are going through the 7 stages of grief after that fair catch signal was correctly enforced

This would seem like exactly the wrong time to announce some coaching change. Right after the debacle last week and with 2 weeks to let things settle down, yes. But going into game week? Not so smart.

Now that I think about it, probably exactly what they are doing.

Hearing some smoke that there might be some news coming out of Iowa City later this afternoon. Might have something to do with BF's future.
Bill Fennelly is not going anywhere for at least a couple of seasons. He is the OG of BF

Yep, they are canning their coordinator . . . . only it is not the one you think. Fly away Philly.

Obviously, you are not aware of the secret Nebraska plan. Their legacy recruit Dylan Raiola chose Georgia this week, (The kid's Dad Dominic played for NU). But this morning on local sports radio, they discussed how this is a good thing. He will go to Georgia, they won't just hand him the keys to the offense, he will enter the portal and end up as Nebraska's 5-star QB after all when he sees how great Matt Rhule has things going. So, we'd better add NU to this list of soon-to-be great QBs in the B1G.
Seems like he might actually flip

Another signing day in the books. Looks like no major surprises for either team. Iowa in at 33 on the 247 composite, ISU in at 54.

I believe the portal closes January 4th so there could still be some additions to both teams. I have to assume ISU will target a kicker
Iowa will not be a significant player in the portal this year from the sounds of it. They’ve got a scholarship crunch. Most of their efforts will be looking at potentially retaining COVID players another year that may want to return.

Like who? What seniors that still have Covid eligibility may be coming back? Serious question; not trolling.
