How in the H*LL do we not have Thunderstruck by ACDC as the opening entrance song?!?!?!?! This should be a tradition that always happens at the Jack.

It's a well known Pop Culture song, that has a great opening (slowly gets louder building to a climax), and oh yeah....it's freakin called Thunderstruck!!....for a team named Cyclones!!!

This is a serious question.....why hasn't it been the entrance song for every home game the past 20 years?

MSU's been using it since '99. Not sure who else uses it, but wouldn't be surprised if more teams didn't use it in their entrance or some sort of highlight reel.

Because Thunderstruck anymore is beyond cliche. Nothing says "I want to try to look cool" but in the process makes you look completely unoriginal by blasting Thunderstruck from the loud speakers as the players exit the tunnel.

OK, being an 'old school' die hard Cyclone Fan who's been watching Cyclone football since '70's, I wish that they did away with all this entrance song stuff/debate and just let the marching band bring the team into "The Jack" with the Iowa State fight song. Let the music play over the p.a. for the warm ups and as the band gets to the field to play their pre-game stuff and then find a song that would lead to a climax which would cue the marching band to play the fight song as team comes running onto the field. In the mid seventies that was something I looked forward to getting to the stadium as the team ran onto the field. This really got my blood pumping...as well as many others I am will to bet on!

Here would me the ideal situation for a night game
The lights go out so the stadium is pitch black and the organ begins to play, then there's a big fire explosion near the end of the tunnel as the team runs out. This is how the wrestler Kane came out before a match. Those who watched wwf in the late 90's would know what I'm talking about

That would be a sweet entrance only I would add some red lights under some smoke... However they would need to switch to another song after the intro... The beginning of that is pretty sweet but the rest of the song kinda sucks.
