If you could take 1 former Cyclone and add them to the current roster, who would you choose and why?

Fizer

Since this is daydreaming, I'd put White at 1 if TJ and Green could have gotten him to play their way. But Fizer as we know him at ISU over the White we saw.

Niang and Pratt are also great choices.

Anyone that can get their back to the basket and score from about anywhere.

I wasn't really around for Cato. What does he bring?
Intimidating rim presence. Wow. I mean, let's say you make it through our perimeter defense and decide to take it to the basket. With Kelvin there, you'd think twice, thrice, and then before you know it you just got stripped.

I still think Fizer is the answer, but Cato is actually making me second-guess a bit now too.

I'd say Royce White. His ability and power in the paint with his ball handling skills would do wonders for this team. I can't say I agree with his decisions after he left ISU, but as a player, he'd be the one I would want.

I think Royce was the best college player I ever saw, bar none. But Cato would be a solid choice as well.

Matty Ice

Matty Ice, Senior Year and/or NBA Matty Ice. Okay.

I was gonna say Julo Michalik, just because I love the international flair we get from kiddos like Kunĉ and Enaruna.

Not sure this year's Clones need anybody except maybe Hester so that they would work harder at blow-out scores.

For me, I never saw Cato or anyone before 2006 play. Growing up in Illinois, I didn't get the fandom of college athletics until I arrived on campus, so its hard for me to relate to some of the people who were around and saw those teams.

Royce lost an MMA match last week, surprised it wasn't thread worthy here.

We most obviously need a big guy, but Chris Babb would really fit this team. Lockdown defender, and could hit the three with more consistency than our current guards. A three-point sniper would really elevate this team.
Respectfully disagree. We already have a couple 6'4'' 2 guards in the Babb mold. Kalscheur and Babb are the same player basically. Plus Chris never shot from the current 3 pt range.
